How hard would it be to compile the original QuakeED source from the NeXT
version? In the readme it says it requires some libraries or something. I
know MacOS X is very ObjectiveC friendly, and the QuakeED source is
ObjectiveC. I've seen screenshots of it in next and it's functionally
similar to the current QuakeEd4 based editors. I think it would be hip to
make QuakeED, and have Light, Vis, and QBSP built in. With the modified
versions out there like tyrlite, QBSP256C, and Vis+, You could make some hip
stuff . Yah I'm crazy... but what if...

Not strictly OT, but I'm in the process of looking at compiling the old Q1
utilities under OSX PB. QCC builds nicely (as a command line tool), but I've
a little way to go with the others. If anyone wants more details, email me
directly.
Giles.
