I have the source for QBSP256c and Vis+(from Tom Grandgent) if you want it.
I intended to do one my self, but I don't have a chance. I'm sure combining
his stuff with tyralite would make some solid maps. Maybe you could figure
out how to write the original map text into the BSP somewhere? That way maps
would always be modifiable.

Current news on the OSX stuff:

Still struggling but qbsp, light, vis all now compile OK, but somewhere along
the line the filepath processing is messed up: QBSP will begin compiling a
.map file but when it goes to write out the .bsp file it can't get a path
to a wad file to finish the job.

harrumph, thankxs for the pointers to the other sources PoX, I'll check them
out.

"Green Eggs and Hamlet" - Would you kill him in his bed? Thrust a dagger
through his head? I would not, could not, kill the King. I could not do
that evil thing. I would not wed this girl, you see. Now get her to a
nunnery.
