pOx made a post earlier this month about QuakeED3 for MacOS 9 (Nov,03-
[MacGLQuake] More Tool Stuff... ). It's being done by a guy called pascal or
bane, I've used it, and it's very cool. I've asked him to Distribute the
source in a more open manner, but he seems convinced that it's not complete
enough and doesn't want people harrassing him about bugs/features I suppose.
Right now It only seems to have a couple of big bugs, and a few missing
features, But I've made a few small levels with it, and done some
modification of maps I've been working on. The output can be read and
compiled directly from quiver (after you put in Quake1 based textures), so I
assume it wouldn't be hard to make a Quake1 version of the editor that
called Quake1 compiling tools. I'm really excited about this editor, because
I've used a lot of different editors on the PC, and since QuakeED has been
relesed for windows, I can't tolerate other editors. Pascal has givin me
permission to give the source to others as long as the person fully
understands that it isn't done or warranted in any way.
