Even better, I just had a look at the GUSI docs. Have you tried just removing the GUSI code from the project, and see what happens? It looks like the author has used the same header names as the BSD-UNIX ones, so it's possible that it might work, without changing anything. (Of course, you'll need to add System.framework to your project, and might have to change some of the header paths.)
